Following his loan spell at Betis last season, the Brazilian winger scored 14 goals and helped the team to the UEFA Conference League final.

Brazilian winger Antony is prepared to wait until the deadline for a potential return to Real Betis, with the Spanish club reserving the number 7 shirt for him, according to local publication Estadio Deportivo, via Sportal.

The Red Devils are demanding around €40 million for a permanent transfer of Antony, a sum the 'Verdiblancos' cannot afford.

Instead, they are pushing for either a new loan deal with greater financial responsibility or a co-ownership model where each club holds 50% of the Brazilian's rights.

The winger has already rejected offers from Portugal's Benfica and clubs in Saudi Arabia, underscoring his determination to play for Betis again.

Numerous media reports suggest that the Betis management is in regular contact with the Brazilian, and it is highly likely the Spanish club has a hand in crafting this strategy to pressure the Red Devils into releasing the winger to the Andalusian team.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has frozen him out of the squad, alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho, confirming a complex situation. The transfer deadline in Spain is September 1st.

The Argentine winger used similar tactics to force the 20-time English champions to let him join Chelsea, with talks between the two clubs already underway. If a deal is not reached, Antony could still move to the Saudi Arabian league before their transfer window closes next month.
