Alex Iwobi: Super Eagles star sings popular Wizkid's song word for word

Iwobi has been known for his music-oriented nature for a long time and has been a big fan of Nigerian music.

Wizkid, one of the biggest afrobeat musicians, caught the eye of the Fulham star, with the Fulham star prioritising his music.

Alex Iwobi expressed how joyful he was when one of Wizkid's songs was played during a recent interview.

According to BASITO on X, “Alex Iwobi sang Wizkid’s song on radio word for word, he’s definitely one of the biggest Wizkid fans out there 🔥😂.”

The Super Eagles star did not miss a word from the lyrics, and the presenter was also shocked that he could remember the lyrics.

The midfielder’s reaction upon hearing old Wizkid music was priceless, and he claimed the album was a big one back in the day.

The Fulham star had to take his headphones off to show how happy he was to hear an old Wizkid song.

Iwobi also agreed with the presenter when she said, “We don't get music like that again, this is when everybody was so hungry for good music.” 

Meanwhile, Iwobi will be in action for the Super Eagles when they face South Africa next week for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
