Betting firm came to the aid of over 30 destitute children holed up in a charity home.

Over 30 needy children benefited from the online betting firm Pakakumi over the weekend at the Save Our Souls Children home on Eldoret.

The Pakakumi Director of Corporate Affairs Humphrey Njiru said that visiting such homes is part of their Corporate Social responsibility to assist needy children across the country.

He said that they have a very strong CSR program with the prosperity for all where they anchor on four pillars starting with the youth empowerment.

“Among the youth empowerment, we support the young people with activities like sports tournaments in Nairobi and Kiambu but we are expecting to expand our territories,” said Njiru.

He added that they support education support, supporting the government in the 100% transition also in supporting the school through the school feeding programs.

“We have extended to this school for food program. We support the feeding program with 80% and the parent does 20%. When we provide that we boost the school in a good way,” he said.

With hope and dignity he says that they want to give every human being a sense of belonging.

With SOS being a children’s home, he said that orphans, needy among others form of needy cases they support.

“And we normally support such and we shall extend more. We want everybody a sense of belonging. We want to give them hope and dignity, that is why you have seen the dominations like sanitary towels, pads for the young girls, so that they are able to continue with their programs without interruption,” he said.
