The Kenyan striker looks to have just over two weeks left before he starts looking for a new club as his current team is reportedly not interested in retaining his services.

Harambee Stars striker Masoud Juma appears to have only three weeks before his adventure in Iran ends following reports that his current employers want to cut ties with him.

Juma plays for Iranian club Esteghlal, which he joined on a short-term deal late last year, at the recommendation of former coach Pitso Mosimane.

The Kenyan striker signed a contract until the end of the season, with an option to extend for another year, and had hoped to impress and earn an extended stay.

However, a number of circumstances have conspired against him, first the departure of Mosimane from the club in January following a bitter fallout over non-payment of his salary for three months, and second an injury that has limited his influence.

Juma returned to action late last month after spells out with an injury and scored his second goal for the club last Friday, when he netted in their 5-1 victory against Aluminium Arak in a Iranian Persian Gulf Pro League match.

With two goals in 13 matches, the first scored four months ago, Juma has not covered himself in glory and he is among two players signed at the recommendation of Mosimane that Esteghlal reportedly want to offload, according to Iranian outlet Tasnim News Agency.

That will leave the former Kariobangi Sharks striker looking for another club, having stayed five months without one since leaving Al-Jabalain last July, before Mosimane offered him a reprieve.

The former Cape Town City striker will likely want to stay in the Middle East where he had played in the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco and Saudi Arabia before moving to Iran.
