"Why not? I think he did well while he was there, and some of the players are still there," Brent Carelse stated. "I think it would be a good thing. It also wouldn't be much of a change, if you think about it."

Carelse emphasised the value of continuity, highlighting Pitso Mosimane's deep understanding of the club's culture and ambitions.

"I think it would be good for continuity as well," he added. "Pitso knows the players, knows the league, and he also knows what the club wants to achieve, so I think it would be a good appointment."

Discussing what Pitso Mosimane could offer that differs from Cardoso, Carelse pointed to his predecessor's proven track record and continental ambitions.

"In terms of player selection and having a stable team, I think Pitso would bring that," the former SuperSport United player explained.

"Also, the fact that he knows the club wants to dominate on the continental stage, that would obviously be one of his main objectives, to try to win the CAF Champions League again."

"I think he can do that; he has obviously gained a lot of experience over the years. I just think for continuity's sake, it would be best to bring back Pitso. He knows how the club is run, and that's an advantage for him."
