Lately, the 23-year-old has not shied away from showing the world the man behind her never-ending smile.
For anyone who has been eyeing World 800m champion Mary Moraa, it probably is too late since she is off the market.
Lately, the 23-year-old has not shied away from showing the world the man behind her never-ending smile. She even went ahead and appreciated him for the support in her career that has seen her yield great results.
On Sunday night, Moraa became the third Kenyan woman to win a gold medal in the 800m. Janeth Jepkosgei won the first medal in 2007 before Eunice Sum won it in 2013. Moraa acknowledged the love of her life for being an integral part of her milestones.
Some parts of her post on her Facebook page said: "It has been a good journey so far. I wouldn't have succeeded were it not for the midas touch of my coach Alex Sang aka Kipkosang Alhiandro. His patience and wisdom are unmatched.
My family led by my elder sister Sarah Nyaboke, my hubby Arap Chemereng Gege, and my mentors Hellen Obiri and Beatrice Chepkoech Ogw have been my great support machine…”
Sometime back on June 15, Moraa also took to her Facebook page to appreciate the mysterious Mr. Gege as she celebrated her birthday.
She wrote: “This far takes your effort my love for holding my hand whenever I’m weak. I celebrate you, my love. During this birthday I am being again for you, and in your arms, I find peace and love.”
