Jamaican sprint hurdler Danielle Williams stole the show edging out the likes of America's Grace Stark and Nigeria's Tobi Amusan.

Jamaica’s Danielle Williams produced a thrilling come-from-behind victory in the women's 100m hurdles at the Xiamen Diamond League, storming to the win in 12.53 seconds on Saturday.

Williams showcased her trademark composure and closing speed, launching a furious late surge to overtake Grace Stark of the United States just before the finish line.

Stark, who had looked strong throughout, finished second in 12.58 seconds.

South Africa’s Marione Fourie also impressed, clocking 12.62 seconds to claim third place.

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan opened her 2025 outdoor season by finishing fourth with a time of 12.74 seconds, still finding her rhythm after a delayed start to her campaign.

Meanwhile, World Indoor Champion Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas saw her race end prematurely after clipping a hurdle early, resulting in a did not finish (DNF).
