The 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) will take place in Morocco from July 5th to 26th. Twelve teams from across the continent will compete, including defending champions South Africa.

This guide provides all the essential information about Africa's premier women's football tournament, which showcases stars from the NWSL, as well as players from European and South American leagues.

Teams: Algeria, Botswana, DR Congo, Ghana, Mali, Morocco (Hosts), Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa (Defending Champions), Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia

Format: Three groups of four teams start the tournament, and the top two teams from each group will automatically advance to the knockouts. They will be joined by the two best third-placed teams.
