All the six Express signings in the January window

Under head coach Alex Isabirye, Express FC have made multiple signings in the concluded mid-season transfer window to bolster their ranks ahead of the second round.

The Red Eagles particularly needed worthy replacements for the departed Emmanuel Alex Wasswa and defenders Dennis Otim as well as Arthur Kiggundu.

Wasswa, who impressed with Express in the first half of the campaign,  returned to his parent club, KCCA FC, after a six-month loan.

The club has thus signed versed midfielder Yasser Mugerwa, who has been at Kiyinda Boys FC, to fill the void left by Wasswa.

Isabirye has also brought in former Vipers SC midfielder Musa Ssali from the struggling Arua Hill SC.

Still from Arua Hill, Express have raided for Mansoor Safi Agu, who comes in as backup to Isaac Wagoina.

Meanwhile, in trying to cover for Kiggundu's departure, Express have signed Affi Kitanda.

The other signings with the 'Mukwano Gwabangi' include Kevin Ssekimbega and Edgar William Katumba.

It should be noted that Express get their second round underway with a trip to the West against Mbarara City FC slated Friday.
