The video of the Liverpool fan burning the jersey was shared by Midnite on X, with the caption, “That was quick 🤣.”

The jersey, which had Trent Alexander-Arnold's shirt number, 66, written on it and the fullback’s name, was engulfed in flames.

Following his announcement, Liverpool have also released an official statement, confirming his departure and wishing him the best of luck.

The England international made 257 Premier League appearances, helping Liverpool to win two Premier League titles in 2019/20 and 2024/25.
